The Perfect Shot

Avery Smith knows exactly what she wants from a partner. Tall, dark brown hair, green eyes, and a professional hockey player. So when her friend’s photography gig gives her the chance to meet him, she's absolutely sure it will be love at first sight. But when their meet cute is more of a meet disaster, there's only a kind stranger around to rescue her.

Sam Fletcher thought her time in the new professional women's hockey league would be nothing short of perfect. But after one season with low stats and no Walter Cup, she's ready for a fresh start in Colorado as part of the league’s newest expansion team. 

As Sam happens upon a crying Avery in a women’s restroom, her heart strings are immediately tugged. But she's in Colorado to play hockey, not make friends (or more…) no matter how attracted she might be to Avery when the tears stop flowing.

When Avery’s given the chance to follow her dreams of being a sports photographer, she jumps at the chance to shoot for the new women’s hockey team in town. Imagine her surprise when the kind, beautiful stranger from the event restroom is the first woman to strut her stuff at walk-ins for the season opener.

What starts as simple attraction grows to something more, but can Avery and Sam work through all the obstacles in their way? Or will they lose their chance at the perfect shot at love?
